College Point Avenues Closed Amid Sewer Installations, Restorations
Four sections of the neighborhood will be unavailable for parking starting Nov. 28 until Dec. 2 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
BAYSIDE, QUEENS – Sewer installations and upgrades at College Point are prompting several roads in the neighborhood to close as the city works on the restoration project in the last week of November, officials announced.
Four sections of the neighborhood will be unavailable for parking and block car access starting Nov. 28 until Dec. 2 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Department of Design and Construction said.
“To avoid towing, please move your vehicle before 7 a.m.,” reads the notice by the department. “These temporary restrictions are necessary for the installations of Storm & Sanitary Sewers.”
