Italian-American Chef Lidia Bastianich Visits Bayside For Book Signing

BAYSIDE, QUEENS — Reknown chef and Emmy award-winning television host Lidia Bastianich paid a visit to Bayside Thursday, filling up the Castle with fans eager to get their books signed.

Italian-American chef Lidia Matticchio Bastianich sat down with dozens of audience members to discuss her book "A Pot, a Pan, and a Bowl," which was released in 2021.

Bastianich is best known for her television series including "Lidia's Kitchen," "Lidia's Italy in America," and "Lidia's Italy."

Following a lecture and Q&A session, the award-winning television host signed copies of her 2021 book, which sold out prior to the event.

The event, hosted by the Bayside Historical Society, was priced at $20 for members and $25 for non-members.
