I thought we thought were set for the week for photos of stand-out Bayside gardens—until we happened upon these two properties, on 216th Street off Northern Blvd. These roses were as bright and eye-catching as Christmas lights. We had to turn onto the street, get out and snap some photos.  The green-thumbed owner of the home closer to Northern Blvd. said she spent about 30 minutes, two or three times per week to tend the roses.  I suggest you take a peak this week and the magnificent roses off Northern at 216th St. Also, if you know of any areas of Bayside with great horticulture, let us know!
