Physical Therapy Center Opens In Whitestone
The New York-based healthcare network opened a STARS Rehabilitation center at 152-53 10th Ave.

BAYSIDE, QUEENS — A physical therapy center opened its doors in Whitestone last week as part of a Queens expansion by Northwell Health.
The New York-based healthcare network opened a STARS Rehabilitation center at 152-53 10th Ave., a $1.6 million investment for the 4,500-square foot space with a 20-member staff.
The center will offer back and spine care, orthopedic rehabilitation, joint replacement therapy, hand therapy, pediatric physical therapy, pelvic floor rehabilitation, lymphedema therapy, post-therapy fitness, and sports medicine.

The Whitestone location is part of Northwell's rehabilitation center expansion into Queens, adding to its Rego Park, Glendale, and Glen Oaks locations.
“We are very excited about the opening of our new facilities in Queens,” said Daniel Vaknin, vice president of Northwell Health Outpatient Therapy Network. “These new facilities will allow us to provide our patients who live and work in Queens outstanding care in a state-of-the-art environment.”
