24-Year-Old Shot Dead In Bed-Stuy: Cops

BED-STUY, BROOKLYN — A 24-year-old man was shot dead in Bed-Stuy on Sunday, according to police.

Benjamin Brown was found shot in the torso at a building on Willoughby Avenue near Throop Avenue just before 2:30 p.m., police said. He was taken to Woodhull Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Brown lived in a building just steps from where he was found, records show.

There were no arrests from the incident as of Monday morning.
