3 Shot At Bed-Stuy Housing Development; 1 Stabbed Nearby: NYPD
Two people were killed in nearby but unrelated attacks in Bed-Stuy, police said.

BED-STUY, NY — A 32-year-old man was fatally stabbed Monday morning in Bed-Stuy, police said.
Ryan Carson, 32, of Bed-Stuy, was stabbed multiple times in his chest about 3:55 a.m., police said. Carson was rushed to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead Monday, according to the NYPD.
His attacker had not been caught Monday morning, but police continued to investigate.

On Saturday, three people were shot near Sumner Houses on Myrtle Avenue between Throop Avenue and Marcus Garvey Boulevard, police said.
One 28-year-old man was shot in the head and pronounced dead at an area hospital just after the shooting 5:15 p.m., police said.

The other two men, 28 and 32 were in stable condition after being shot in the lower back and stomach.
No arrests had been made Monday and police continued to investigate.
