Bed-Stuy Blaze Battled By 60 Firefighters, FDNY Says

BED-STUY, BROOKLYN — An early morning fire tore through a Quincy Street apartment early Wednesday morning, fire officials said.

The fire was reported to be raging inside a fourth-floor apartment at 281 Quincy St., near Nostrand Avenue, at just before 6:30 a.m., according to the FDNY.

Sixty smoke eaters responded to the five-story building and worked to extinguish the flames over the next 30 minutes, officials said.

The department told Patch Wednesday morning that there were no reported injuries.
