Bakery Featured In 'The Bear' Headed To Bed-Stuy
Ursula will have you saying "yes, chef" this weekend with pastries from a Chicago bakery featured in "The Bear."

BED-STUY, NY — Bed-Stuy's Ursula will host a Chicago bakery featured in FX's "The Bear" this weekend with a menu nodding to the popular show and a charitable goal.
Come Saturday, the Nostrand Avenue New Mexican spot, known for its breakfast burritos, will serve a special menu in collaboration with Kasama chef Tim Flores, the restaurant announced on Instagram.
Kasama was recently featured on "The Bear," just the latest on a number of accolades for the Filipino spot by Flores and his wife, Genie Kwon — which also has a Michelin Star and James Beard Foundation award.

In an episode of show, Ayo Edebiri's character Sydney goes to Kasama and orders a mango tart, breakfast sandwich, hash browns, mushroom adobo and matcha latte.
And on Saturday, Flores will pay tribute to the order, serving a beef Kalderete breakfast burrito with salsa, scrambled egg and hash browns, Ursula announced. The burritos will be around from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. — or until sold out.

The burritos are paired with a specialty Bloody Mary made with mezcal.
Flores is the most recent in a long line of chefs to bring special breakfast burritos to Ursula's menu during its month-long celebration of "Ally July."
Proceeds from the weekly special menus have benefitted Love Wins NYC Food Pantry, a "queer-centric and volunteer-led effort to address food insecurity," according to the organization's website.
Previous chefs have included the chefs from Flatbush's Aunts et Uncles, serving a vegan salt fish burrito, and Bonnie's in Williamsburg, serving a Chinese chorizo, garlic chive and hash brown burrito.
