BED-STUY, NY — Two new businesses were headed to Bed-Stuy this week, bringing new veterinary services and a fitness center.

The Bed-Stuy location will offer vaccines, spay and neuters, surgeries, wellness checks and dental cleanings.

The clinic is now open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. from Tuesday to Sunday.

And on opening day, the new location made a splash in the local pet community, donating all proceeds to Badass Animal Rescue, a non-profit that saves and rehabilitates dogs from high-kill shelters.

Blink Fitness

Blink Fitness is slated to open its 16th Brooklyn location Wednesday on Broadway between Lewis Avenue and Stockton Street.

The gym will include Blink's regular free weights, cardio machines, stretching zone and personal training team.

And the opening will come with something for Bed-Stuy — new members will see a 20 percent discount through November 1. Some 50 free memberships will also be doled out to the Rainbow Heights Club, an organization that supports LGBTQ+ locals.
