BED-STUY, BROOKLYN — A local cabbie was carjacked at gunpoint early Tuesday morning by a passenger who promptly crashed his cab into a dumpster, according to police.

The rider pulled a gun and demanded valuables from the local car service driver on Clifton Place near Franklin Avenue about 3 a.m., police said.

The gunman then hopped in the driver's seat and sped off — with the driver still inside — only to crash into a dumpster nearby, police said.
