Bed-Stuy Deli Serves Some Of NYC's Best Pastrami: Eater

Eater NY ranked a long-standing Bed-Stuy deli among New York City's best pastrami spots.

BED-STUY, NY — Bed-Stuy's own David's Brisket House Deli landed on Eater NY's ranking of New York City's best pastrami, ranking among iconic spots like Katz's Delicatessen and Frankel's.

The long-standing Bed-Stuy spot offers medium and large pastrami sandwiches, checking out at $18.53 and $20.59 each.

David's landed number nine on Eater's top 12 pastrami list for its well-spiced and smoky meat, Eater NY reported.

The family-owned spot has served up deli classics since the 1960s, changing ownership between families with different backgrounds to make a uniquely halal Jewish deli.

"For over 70 years now, David’s Brisket House Deli has been serving the good people of Bed-Stuy the same consistent old school roast brisket on a roll with gravy... and its classical pastrami and corned beef," owners said on the eatery's website.

Not enough meat? The deli also serves combo sandwiches stacked high with corned beef, pastrami and brisket.

The menu also boasts burgers, breakfast and classic sandwiches like a reuben and cheesesteak.

David's Brisket House Deli's menu also includes a pound of brisket, pastrami and corn beef between $28.99 and $29.99.
