Bed-Stuy Man Sought In Strangling Of Bronx Woman: Cops
Angel DeJesus, who lives on Van Buren Street, is wanted in the homicide of his on-again off-again girlfriend, according to cops and reports.

BED-STUY, BROOKLYN — Police are searching for a Bed-Stuy man who they say strangled a woman in the Bronx earlier this week, according to the NYPD.
Cops said late Monday that Angel DeJesus, 44, is was wanted for the homicide of Belkis Lopez, who was found strangled in her bedroom that morning, according to police.
They asked for the public's help in locating DeJesus, who lives on Van Buren Street between Marcus Garvey Boulevard and Throop Avenue, records show.

Lopez, 35, was found with a band of rubber around her neck around 8:15 a.m. on East 158th Street, according to police.
DeJesus, who was seen banging on doors in the building a few days before the killing, had been in an on-again, off-again relationship with Lopez, according to the Daily News.

Neighbors told the outlet DeJesus recently shaved his head, beard and mustache.
