Bed-Stuy Pol Chi Ossé Is One Of The Top Reasons To Love NYC: Ranking
New York Mag said Chi Ossé is one of the top 37 reasons to love New York City, on account of his Brooklyn social schedule and TikToks.

BED-STUY, NY — In a world of high-brow snobbery, Chi Ossé is anything but — and his TikTok brand of constituent outreach could actually be one of New York City's key selling points.
The Gen Z city council member landed on New York Magazine's ranking among the top 37 reasons to love New York City — landing amongst some of the city's quirkiest calling cards like a Wicked drag show and outlandish lawsuit involving Robert De Niro and a Nobu martini.
Unlike the exclusive late-night inklings of Mayor Eric Adams, Ossé opts for more accessible outings, like a queer bar in Bed-Stuy, New York Magazine touts.

And his approach to constituents is just as brotherly, with social media taking priority.
The youngest member on city council, Ossé has become known for his punchy videos and Twitter quips.

"I will never waver on my values and beliefs," Ossé said after his uncontested win in November.
On policy, he regularly focuses on police violence and budget, housing and workers' rights.
“I think through legislation, I try to bring my identity to it, and not just my identity, but the views and values and things that people care about within our generation,” Ossé told Paper Magazine in the beginning of the year.
“Now, of course, I really work for my entire district with ranges of ages and race and gender, but I also get to legislate through my own identity.”
