With a full dinner menu on its way, Ursula is already serving a limited soft-open dinner menu featuring taquitos, vegan nachos, chips and three salsas and a couple other light bites.
On the cocktail list, standouts include a rose-flavored drink called the "Angels on Your Pillow" featuring rum from Black-owned brand Ten To One.
The "D.D.D.I.T.T.," or "Dance, Dance, Dance It's A Teen Thing," is a spicy margarita with hibiscus and prickly pear inspired by a 90s-era televised dance party at a water park in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The "D.D.D.I.T." uses woman-owned and operated tequila company La Gritona, which employs women at every step of production, according to Ursula's website.
Ursula opened the Bed Stuy location with the help of its Brooklyn friends — who crowdsourced over $25,000 to help the eatery with its move.
