Brooklyn Thieves Net $20 in Bodega Holdup: Police

NYPD investigators are hunting for the pair of small-time robbers.

Two unidentified young men are wanted for holding up the Ashford Deli & Grill — a tiny bodega at 809 Ashford Street in New Lots, Brooklyn — and making off with just $20 from the cash register.

Both suspects are believed to be between 15 and 20 years old.

They allegedly pulled guns on the bodega clerk in broad daylight, around 4 p.m. on Aug. 20, according to the NYPD.

Police have released surveillance footage of the suspects (screenshot above) in hopes that a member of the public will come forward with more information about the armed robbery.
