Brooklyn Woman Charged With Assaulting Cop Outside Princeton Social Club

The officer was escorting her away from the Colonial Club when she allegedly began kicking and resisting early Saturday morning.

PRINCETON, NJ — A Brooklyn woman is facing multiple charges after allegedly engaging in a fight with a Princeton Police officer who was escorting her from a campus social club on Prospect Avenue early Saturday morning.

Rhoda Lynch, 18, a resident of Prince Street in Brooklyn, NY, was charged with aggravated assault, resisting arrest and obstructing the administration of law during an unwanted/intoxicated person investigation at Colonial Club on the Princeton campus around 1:16 a.m. on Dec. 5.

As an officer was escorting her from the club, she allegedly began kicking and resisting the officer, Princeton Police said on Tuesday afternoon.

She was ultimately transported to police headquarters, processed, and charged. She was released on her own recognizance.
