Cops Search For Man Who Lit 'Incendiary Device' In Bed-Stuy Home
The man used an unknown incendiary device on an apartment door before running out and smashing car windshields with a hammer, cops said.

BED-STUY, BROOKLYN — Police are searching for a man who lit an incendiary device in a Bed-Stuy apartment Friday morning, according to the NYPD.
The man used an unknown incendiary device inside an apartment on Madison Street, between Throop Avenue and Marcus Garvey Boulevard, just before 8 a.m., police said.
The device caused minor damage to an apartment door but did not injure anybody, according to police.

After using the device, the man ran out of the building and shattered the windshields of multiple parked cars with a hammer before fleeing, an NYPD spokesperson said.
He is described as being in his 40s and was not located as of 10 a.m., according to the spokesperson.
