Daytime Bed-Stuy Shooting Claims Woman's Life, Police Say

A 63-year-old man is in critical condition and a woman dead after a shooting in a Pulaski Street home Wednesday afternoon, police said.

BEDFORD-STUYVESANT, BROOKLYN — A woman is dead and a man in critical condition after daytime shooting in a Bed-Stuy home, police said.

Shots rang out inside a second floor apartment on Pulaski Street near Malcolm X Boulevard about 1:05 p.m. Wednesday, police said.

A woman was repeatedly shot and died in the apartment at 445 Pulaski St., police said.

A 63-year-old man was shot in the head and rushed to Kings County Hospital in critical condition, police said.

Police found a gun and have a suspect in custody, according to the NYPD. More information about the woman or the suspect was not immediately available.
