Early Morning Bed-Stuy Fire Under Investigation: FDNY
A fire early Wednesday morning on Flushing Avenue took 60 smoke eaters to put down.
BED-STUY, BROOKLYN — A fire on Flushing Avenue is under investigation, according to the FDNY.
At just before 3:30 a.m., firefighters received a call about a second story fire in a multi-unit building at 491 Flushing Ave, according to department officials.
Authorities said that 12 units were sent to tame the blaze, with 60 smoke eaters fighting the fire until around 4 a.m.

No injuries were reported, according to FDNY officials, who also said that the cause of the fire is under investigation.
According to Google Maps, 491 Flushing Ave. houses a podiatrist and possibly other medical offices. Department of buildings records show that the property is classified as a store.
