Fire Breaks Out In Bed-Stuy Building: FDNY

A first-floor fire at a three-story mixed use building took over an hour to control, according to officials.

BED-STUY, BROOKYLN — A fire broke out Tuesday morning at a three-story mixed-use building in Bed-Stuy, fire officials said.

At around 10:15 a.m., firefighters responded to a blaze in the first floor of 1356 Broadway, near Gates Avenue, according to officials.

The flames were brought under control by 11:30 a.m., fire officials said.
