Greene Avenue Homicide Victim Identified

A 22-year old man shot and killed at his home on Monday night has been identified as Jamal Singleton.

Singleton was shot in the torso on Monday, September 19, at approximately 9:43, at his home on Greene Avenue, between Patchen Avenue and Malcolm X Boulevard, according to police. He was taken to Woodhull hospital where he was pronounced dead.

So far there, is no information about the shooter or a motive. There are no arrest(s) at this time, and the investigation is ongoing.
