BED STUY, NY — A new cafe and book shop opened over the weekend in Bed Stuy, promising natural wine and pop-up shops throughout the summer.

Early Yves cafe, which previously went by the name Montage Brooklyn, opened Saturday on Macon Street and Patchen Avenue. It's the cafe's second location, with the first in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

The Brooklyn spot features coffee from Black woman-owned coffee company Kahawa, books from small Latinx-owned bookstore Duende District, pastries baked in-house and a pop-up flower shop from Lulo & Ly.

Saturday's opening was a hit — the cafe sold out of everything by 11 a.m., according to Early Yves' Instagram.

"THANK YOU AGAIN to all of y'all who showed up with such encouraging words & good energy. We were all in happy tears by the end of the day. And thank you to our team — y'all rocked it so hard," owners wrote on Instagram.

On Sunday, the shop also sold natural wine and mimosas as a "sneak peak" of summer's offerings. The spot will also feature live music in the evenings, according to owners.

The owners in January left a note on the property's door announcing their arrival.

"This magical corner will soon be a coffee shop, a natural wine bar, and a space for you to top and take a breath, or have a laugh," the note from owners Symone Lucero and Candice Orwat said. "It's been a joy meeting some of y'all already. Your kindness & energy are why we're here."
