Man Snatches 6-Year-Old's Yarmulke In Bed-Stuy Hate Crime: Cops
The NYPD's Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating the robbery, which happened in front of a local school, police said.
BED-STUY, BROOKLYN — The NYPD's hate crimes team are searching for a man who snatched a yarmulke from a 6-year-old boy in Bed-Stuy, according to police.
The man snatched the yarmulke from the child's head around 11 a.m. on Sunday in front of Talmud Torah D'nitra school on Bedford Avenue near Lafayette Avenue, police said.
The incident is being investigated by the NYPD’s Hate Crime Task Force, police said.
