UPDATE: Man Stabbed and Killed on Park Ave. Thursday Night

79th Pct. police have arrested Kyle Sylvester, 24, of 878 Park Avenue for the stabbing death of victim Orlando Houston. He has been charged with 2nd degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon.

Police are asking for the public's assistance in identifying the person(s) responsible for the stabbing death of a Bed-Stuy man Thursday night.

According to police reports, on Thursday, February 21, at approximately 6:53 p.m., police received a 911 call of a man stabbed inside of 878 Park Avenue (near Broadway Ave).

Upon arrival, police found the victim, identified as Orlando Houston, 41, of New York Ave, with stab wounds to his chest. He was transported to Kings County Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Investigators determined the victim was stabbed in front of 10 Lewis Ave before collapsing in the lobby of 878 Park Ave.

The investigation is ongoing.
