Man Wanted for Robbing Letter Carrier at Gunpoint

The U.S. Postal Inspection Service, along with the 81st Precinct, currently is investigating a robbery of a letter carrier in Bed-Stuy.

According to police reports, on Friday, February 1, at around 2:15 p.m., a USPS letter carrier was robbed at gunpoint while delivering mail to 927 Dekalb Ave, at Lewis Avenue (Roosevelt Houses).

The suspect is described as a black male, 25-30 years old, approximately 5 foot 8, thin body build, wearing a black hoodie and a black hat. [See attached sketch].

If anyone has any information leading to the arrest of this suspect, USPS is offering a $25,000 reward.
