New Bed Stuy Cocktail Bar Among The Hottest In NYC, Eater Says
Bottoms up, Bed-Stuy, it's Oddly Enough.
BEDFORD-STUYVESANT, BROOKLYN — Bottoms up, Bed Stuy. A local queer bar has been named one of the hottest places for cocktails in New York City.
Oddly Enough on the corner of Tompkins and Jefferson avenues is one of five Brooklyn watering holes to make Eater's list of hottest new cocktail bars in New York City, released this week.
"Oddly Enough, a brand-new cocktail bar in Bed-Stuy, arrives at a time when queer spaces, and lesbian bars in particular, are sorely needed," Eater writes.

Former Eugene & Co. employee Laura Poladsky and co-owner Caitlin Frame bring a vibe that's “fun, sexy, and warmly welcoming,” according to Eater.
Bed-Stuy imbibers will find a slew of cocktails, small plates and local events that celebrate neighborhood Pride.

Recent events flagged on the bar's Instagram page include a Brooklyn-based pop-up comedy show, a queer cocktail hour and a Solstice reading.
Oddly Enough opened in Bed-Stuy in April, according to Patch and the bar's Instagram.
Owners wrote at the time, "We couldn’t be more pleased or excited to be opening up a queer space in Bedstuy."
Oddly Enough joins four other Brooklyn bars in receiving Eater's coveted tip-of-the-hat: Eavesdrop and El Pingüino in Greenpoint, Deux Chats and Common Mollies in Williamsburg.
The rest of the new cocktail bars are in Manhattan with the exception of a beloved Rockaway Beach bar that recently relaunched called Connolly's.
