NYPD Hunts Brooklyn Trio Wanted for Painkiller Heist

The pill thieves targeted Kingsboro Pharmacy in central Bed-Stuy, police say.

Three robbers who staged a painkiller heist at Kingsboro Pharmacy in central Bed-Stuy have been on the run for more than two months now, according to the NYPD.

Around 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 5, the unidentified trio busted into the pharmacy at 868 Dekalb Avenue, whipped out a gun and demanded Percocet from the store clerks, police said.

This is what happened next, according to police:

“The suspects then locked one clerk, a 52-year-old female, in the store room and had the second clerk, a 33-year-old female, kneel down on the counter floor. The suspects then entered the safe and removed oxycodone, hydrocodone, endocet and the two clerks’ purses which contained their cell phones, bank cards, and money. The suspects then fled the store.”

Police have since released surveillance footage of the three suspects (see photos, above).

Anyone who might have seen these men or knows anything about the crime is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS. Tips can also be submitted anonymously online or by texting 274637, then entering TIP577.
