BED-STUY, BROOKLYN — A man was rushed to the hospital on Thursday after someone opened fire in broad daylight in a Bed-Stuy smoke shop, according to police.

The 20-year-old man was shot in the torso just before 4 p.m. inside Dream Burner Smokeshop on Broadway near Myrtle Avenue, according to police.

A group of men had come into the smoke shop and at least one of them had fired a gun before running away, according to police. An NYPD spokesperson did not know as of 5 p.m. how many suspects were involved in the shooting.

The man shot was sent to Kings County Hospital in stable condition, police said.
