Police Blotter: Home Invasion on Hancock Street
Two masked men stole money, jewelry and electronic devices.

Cops are searching for two gun-wielding robbers who stormed into a Hancock Street man's home and stole $10,000 from his safe.
The 35-year-old victim said he was in his living room with two female guests on May 31, when the armed men suddenly broke through the front door of his home on Hancock between Stuyvesant and Lewis Avenues at about 2 a.m., according to report from the 81st Precinct.
The robbers — who both wore bandanas to cover their faces — let the two women leave the apartment, then pointed the gun at the victim and demanded he open the safe in his house, the report stated.

They then snatched $10,000 and several pieces of valuable jewelry, a computer and other electronic devices before running off. The victim, who told cops he believes the entire thing was a set-up, was not harmed.
Police said the incident is still under investigation and that they also want to question the two women allowed to leave the apartment.
