Police Looking for Four Teen Girls Involved in Transit Robbery at Nostrand Ave

No arrests have been made, and police are still investigating.

The 79th Precinct of the New York City Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in identifying four teenage girls wanted for a robbery that took place at the Nostrand Avenue A Train station.

According to police reports, on Thursday, December 13, at around 2:10 p.m., on the southbound platform of the Nostrand Avenue A Train, four teen girls approached an 18-year-old woman, snatched her cell phone and earphones from her hands and then ran off. 

The victim said, when she attempted to run after the four women, one turned around and pushed her down and continued to run through the station an unknown direction. The victim was not injured.

NYPD camera footage shows one of the suspects, who is described as a Hispanic teen, approximately 5-foot-4, 100-105 pounds, black hair worn in a pony tail and with bangs. The suspect was last seen wearing a black sweater, gray sweatpants, black sneakers, a black bag, and large earrings. 

No arrests have been made, and police are still investigating.
