Police Seek Daylight Bed-Stuy Stabbing Suspect

Police released photos Tuesday of the man they think killed Bobby Bruce in Bed-Stuy last month.

BEDFORD-STUYVESANT, BROOKLYN — Police are searching for the suspect they believe stabbed a Brooklyn man to death in Bed-Stuy last month.

The NYPD released photos Tuesday morning of they man they believe killed Bobby Bruce, 42, on Lefferts Boulevard and Franklin Avenue in broad daylight on July 8.

A fight between the two men suddenly turned violent about 2:40 p.m. when the suspect stabbed Bruce in the neck, chest and stomach, said police.

Medics rushed Bruce to Brooklyn Hospital where he later died, police said.

His attacker ran away on Fulton Street toward Spencer Place, said police.
