Teen Fatally Shot On Bed-Stuy Street: Cops

BED-STUY, BROOKLYN — A 16-year-old was fatally shot on the street in Bed-Stuy on Wednesday, the second teen to be killed in a Brooklyn shooting this week, according to police.

Jaden Turnage, who lived nearby on Quincy Street, was found shot in the chest on Monroe Street between Franklin and Classon avenues around 6:15 p.m., according to police.

He was taken to Brooklyn Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

The shooting came just a day after another 16-year-old, Cahlil Pennington, was shot dead in East New York on Tuesday, according to police. Pennington was found shot in the torso near Miller and Pitkin avenues.

There were no arrests in either shooting as of Thursday morning.
