BROOKLYN, NY — A 16-year-old boy was stabbed in the face and neck while waiting for a train at Broadway Junction, police said.

The teen was waiting for a southbound A train about 10:20 p.m. Sunday when two people walked up to him and pulled out a knife, according to the NYPD.

The men repeatedly stabbed the teen in the neck in what appears to be an unprompted attack, police said.

First responders rushed to the station and took the teen to a nearby hospital in stable condition, according to the NYPD.

The suspects fled the station on separate trains and are still being sought by police, according to the NYPD, which released a photo of the two people Wednesday.
