BED-STUY, BROOKLYN — A woman randomly started walking down the elevated J line subway track on Wednesday morning toward Manhattan, witnesses said. According to those who saw the woman's antics at the Myrtle and Broadway stop at just before 9 a.m., she appeared to be unfazed by the whole thing:
A subway rider called the MTA via the "help point" system at the stop, a witness told Gothamist.
According to MTA spokesman Kevin Ortiz, an "EDP [emotionally disturbed person" was removed by police, and normal service was restored by 9:13 a.m. For other bizarre breaking news from Bed-Stuy, subscribe to the Bed-Stuy Patch for email newsletters and news alerts that go to your phone.
