Weekend Traffic Advisory

The New York City Police Department today announced street closures and anticipated traffic delays for the weekend of August 4 and 5, 2012.

Drivers should expect delays in the following areas:

Manhattan

DOT / SUMMER STREETS (Aug 4th, 11th & 18th), 7:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Lafayette Street between Reade Street/ Centre Street and Fourth Avenue

Fourth Avenue between Lafayette Street and East 15th Street

Union Square East between East 15th Street and East 17th Street

Park Avenue South between East 17th Street and East 32nd Street

Park Avenue between East 32nd Street and East 72nd Street

(Including the viaduct between East 40th Street and East 46th Street)

72nd Street between Park Avenue and 5th Avenue
