Ah-ooo! Ah-ooo! 56th Annual Moon Viewing Concert At The Hammond
Sheer "lunacy" at the Hammond features music in the moonlight, a Japanese stroll garden, traditional Japanese mooncakes and thee.
NORTH SALEM, NY —The Hammond Museum and Japanese Stroll Garden announced that it will be holding its 56th Annual Moon Viewing Concert this Saturday, September 10.
The special tradition was first started by Natalie Hays Hammond in 1966.
The garden will open at 7 p.m. and the outdoor concert will start at 8 p.m.

Guests will be able to "wander through the garden under the soft twilight glow before settling in for a very special outdoor concert." There will be Japanese traditional music in the garden by Masayo Ishigure and Miyabi Koto Shamisen Ensemble.
The fee is $25 per person. Refreshments, including Japanese mooncakes, will be provided.

The Hammond Museum & Japanese Stroll Garden is located at 28 Deveau Road in North Salem.
