Memorial Day is Monday, May 30, and that means many government offices, schools and libraries will be closed.
Monday, May 30, is Memorial Day. In observance of the holiday, most federal, state and local government offices are closed. There will be no mail delivery. Many businesses are open.

- Local garbage pickup will be on a Holiday week schedule.
- Libraries: closed
- Banks: closed
- State courts: closed
- New York Stock Exchange (NYSE): closed
- U.S. Post Offices: closed
- State government offices: closed
- County government offices: closed
- Local government offices: closed
- Supermarkets: open
- Liquor stores: open
