Lasdon Public Gardens Train Show Returns To The 'Pop-Up Station' For 2025

Santa will take a break from the workshop to listen carefully to children's holiday wishes at select times in his cottage.

KATONAH, NY — The model train show and fundraiser that is a local tradition, is also becoming a regional attraction — and, yes, Santa will be there!

The Holidays on the Hill Annual Train Show returns to Lasdon Public Gardens and Veterans Memorial in Somers for the holiday season, from Saturday, Nov. 29 through Dec. 31.

Organizers said this year's train show features an all new, multi-level display with G-scale trains throughout 2,500 square feet in the Lasdon Conservatory, in order to give visitors a more immersive holiday experience.

"Families and friends cherish the Holidays on the Hill Train Show because it brings tradition and joy to life," Westchester County Executive Ken Jenkins said. "This year, for the first time ever, the show features a multi-level track for families and children of all ages to enjoy. It is our hope that the Train Show will bring moments of warmth and laughter, allowing people to celebrate the love and unity of the holidays in a meaningful way."

In addition to the train show, there will be holiday decorations on the Conservatory Plaza and children will be able to participate in a fun scavenger hunt to find elves hiding throughout.

Santa will hear children's holiday wishes at select times in his cottage on Conservatory Plaza.

Food options will include George's Wood Fire Pizza and Jimmy's Soft Serve Ice Cream.

Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for seniors (62+), $10 for children ages 2 to 12. Children up to 24 months of age have free admission.

The exhibit is co-produced by Westchester County Parks and the Friends of Lasdon Public Gardens and Veterans Memorial.
