You barely have to leave your vehicle for this one-of-a-kind holiday photo op when the Jolly Old Elf himself trades in his sleigh for a firetruck and leaves his North Pole workshop for an appearance at the Golden’s Bridge Firehouse (Rt. 138) for the 6th Annual “Curbside with Santa” event on Dec. 14, 2025, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. The best part? Everything is free! Food, photos with Santa, and a gift bag for all children!
Santa will be perched on his specially, elf-crafted photo bench (spoiler alert: it was really constructed by Golden’s Bridge firefighters) surrounded by Christmas trees twinkling with lights and inflatable holiday icons like Frosty the Snowman. It’s the perfect scene, with you and your children in the frame, for next year’s holiday card!

Have your cameras and smartphones ready to capture your up-close, exclusive photo opportunity with Santa, who will be handing out candy canes while his Golden’s Bridge firefighter-helpers will provide every child with a giant gift bag packed with surprises from the North Pole.
While waiting your turn for your personal meet-and-greet with Santa, Golden’s Bridge firefighters and other volunteer helpers will deliver hotdogs, snacks, cookies, candy, juice packs, and more right to your window for you to enjoy in the comfort of your vehicle.
“This is a fun and entertaining way to share the magic of the holiday season with the community. Everyone loves taking pictures with Santa!” said longtime firefighter Steven Mines, who also serves as vice president of the Golden’s Bridge Fire Department and chair of the Curbside with Santa event.
“This is quality time with Santa without the crowds and long lines at malls and department stores. And we provide free food and snacks while you’re waiting!” he added.
What began as a creative solution during the height of the Covid pandemic has now become a highly-anticipated community tradition. The Golden’s Bridge Fire Department’s switch from its decades-long indoor children’s holiday party to the drive-up Curbside with Santa event has quickly turned into a highlight of the holiday season for children and families.
