An officer with the Bedford police department was hospitalized after a collision on Route 22 Friday morning, authorities told Patch.
The two-vehicle accident occurred at around 9 a.m. in front of the Historical Hall, when the officer was responding to an emergency call.
The squad car's lights were flashing and sirens were sounding, said Sgt. Drew Bellantone.
Police said the collision resulted in three minor injuries, and all involved have since been released from the hospital. An accident investigation team was called out, Bellantone said.
"All the pieces are being put together," he added.
On Thursday, an accident involving an Mt. Kisco police sergeant on a motorcycle put the lawman in the hospital.
