The voters decided on the $160,905,500 Bedford Central School District budget and which candidates will serve on the board of education.

BEDFORD, NY — The ballots are in and voters have decided on the 2025 budget and school board.
Here are the unofficial results.
The proposed Bedford CSD schools spending plan of $160,905,500 passed, with 1,438 voting yes and 587 voting no.

The new budget is 3.26 percent higher than the current budget.
The tax levy is expected to be increased by 2.99 percent.

Four school board seats were up for election. The three candidates with the highest number of votes will be elected to three-year terms. The candidate with the fourth-highest number of votes will serve a one-year-plus term, due to a board member's resignation.
The results for the candidates in order of highest results:
- Gilian Klein: 1249
- Blakeley Lowry: 1193
- Prasad Krishnan: 1082
- Leo Sposato: 971
- Eric Florio: 935
- Robert Mazurek: 819
- Amal Shady: 743
