Civic Meetings, Choral Festival and Movie Night

1. Bedford Hills Neighborhood Association Meets Tonight

If you live in this hamlet, of the BHNA is a way to catch up on all that's happening—the April 2 Run for the Hills Race and community bulletin board unveiling is up next. Meeting starts at 7 p.m. at the Bedford Hills Community House at 7 p.m. Check back on Patch later today for details on the race.

2. Northeast Rotary Club meets

This group meets tonight at John Michael's restaurant at 6:15 p.m. Guests are always welcome to meet members and help plan their events which include community scholarships, supporting cub scouts and other service projects. for more information. 

3. Do you know a 'Local Hero?

Nominate them for the  American Red Cross in Westchester County 'Community of Heroes.' The ACR is searching for ordinary individuals who have committed extraordinary acts of heroism. A Community of Heroes, an event held in June, is the event at which individuals will be honored for having shown courage, kindness and unselfish character in the face of adversity.

4. Movie and Q&A with Janet Maslin, New York Times Film Critic

 will screen a movie about Vidal Sassoon, born a poor Jewish kid in London’s East End, he never realized his dream of becoming an architect. Filmmaker Craig Teper and New York Times critic Janet Maslin will be available for a Q&A.

5. District Choral Festival

Plan to go out tomorrow night to hear voices from throughout the Bedford Central School District join together in song for a choral event. The performances start Tuesday at  7 p.m. at Fox Lane's Mary Lou Meese Theatre.
