BEDFORD CHESS TOURNAMENT

Winter Classic

            Where: Bedford Village Elementary School

                        45 Court Road

                                    Bedford, New York 10506

            Time:   All sections start 9:30am

Sections:

K-1 – Kindergarten and 1^st Grade only.  Unrated

2-5 Novice – Grades 2-5 (rated under 400) Unrated

Primary – Grades K-3 (Game/30) USCF Rated

Elementary – Grades K-6 (Game/30) USCF Rated

Reserve – Grades K-12 (rated under 1000) (Game/30) USCF Rated

Open – Grades K-12 (Game/40) USCF Rated

Trophies:

All players in all sections will receive a trophy.  Team trophies for top 3 teams in each section.

Round Times:

9:30/ 10:45/ 12:15/ 1:30 - to be followed by Awards Ceremony

Kindergarten rounds 2, 3 and 4 as announced and awards immediately following.  Open

Section rounds 2, 3 and 4 as announced.

Registration:

$40 if postmarked by 12/6.  After 12/6, $50 e-mail entries tournaments@bedfordchess.com or fax to (203) 403-9840.  Registration ends 9pm on Dec. 10th. No on-site registration. Checks payable to BVESA.
