I-684 Southbound Will Be Reduced To 1 Lane For Bridge Work

The overnight work is scheduled to begin tonight in Northern Westchester County, according to the NYSDOT.

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NY — Overnight lane reductions are planned on Interstate 684 in Westchester County for bridge work, weather permitting.

The New York State Department of Transportation said Interstate 684 soutbound will be reduced to one lane between Exit 6 (State Route 35) and Exit 4 (State Route 172) in the Town of Bedford, from 8 p.m. on Thursday until 5 a.m. on Friday, for bridge work.

The NYSDOT is reminding drivers to slow down and drive responsibly in work zones. Remember, fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. Convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in a driver's license suspension.
