WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NY — Saturday lane reductions are planned on Interstate 684 in Westchester County for bridge work.

The New York State Department of Transportation said Interstate 684 southbound will be reduced to one lane between Exit 6 (State Route 35) and Exit 4 (State Route 172) in the Town of Bedford, on Saturday. The work will take place between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m., weather permitting.

The NYSDOT is reminding drivers to slow down and drive responsibly in work zones. Remember, fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. Convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in a driver's license suspension.
