John Jay Ice Hockey Headed to State Semi-Finals
The Indians clinched a 4-2 win Saturday night in Lake George.

After defeating the Rye Garnets last week for the to get to states, the John Jay High School ice hockey team followed up with a 4-2 win over Queensbury Saturday night to make it to the Division 2 semi-finals.
The Indians were behind after the first period 1-0 but Shawn Smith, Frazier Bostwick and Jack Wertz each scored a goal in the second, making it 3-1 heading into the third period, according to a report by MSG Varsity. Jack Grimm scored in the fourth, clinching the win.
The Indians face Section 10 champ St. Lawrence in the state semifinals next weekend at the Utica Memorial Auditorium at noon.
