'Katonah Live' to Launch, Wolf Pups Meet and Greet, Watch for Thunderstorms

1. Launch of Katonah Live

A new a new grassroots organization of Katonah community members, supported by the Katonah Museum, Caramoor, KVIS and the Katonah Chamber is being formed, with its central focus of bringing live music and arts into downtown Katonah. 4. Meet new wolf pups

The Wolf Conservation Center in South Salem welcomes families (kids six and up) on July 30 to meet the new ambassador wolf pups. You'll learn about the mythology, biology and ecology of wolf families and discover why summer is a special time for packs in North America. Pre-registration is required. It starts at 11 a.m., for details.

5. Watch for late-day thunderstorms

The National Weather Service forecasts possible evening showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly before 2am. Some of the storms could be severe. Lows will dip to the mid-60s and the chance of precipitation is 60 percent, with new rainfall possibly reaching 1 and 2 inches.
