Lane Closures Scheduled Along I-684 In Westchester County
The overnight construction work requiring double lane closures will stretch between Exit 8 (Hardscrabble Road) and Exit 9 (I-84).
WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NY — Overnight road work could temporarily make things slow-going in Northern Westchester for much of the week.
The NYS Department of Transportation has announced the following lane closures along I-684, between Exit 8 (Hardscrabble Road) and Exit 9 (I-84) for construction work, weather permitting:
- Wednesday & Thursday: double lane southbound closures are expected 8 p.m. - midnight with single lane closures midnight - 3 a.m.
- Thursday: double lane northbound closures are expected 8 p.m. - 3 a.m.
Drivers should anticipate delays and plan accordingly, according to the NYSDOT.

The NYSDOT is reminding drivers to slow down and drive responsibly in work zones. Remember, fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. Convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of your driver's license.
