Letter to the Editor: Vote Yes to the K-L Budget

The Katonah-Lewisboro Parent Council is a group of PTA/PTO presidents working together to advocate on various issues affecting all students in the School District.  We support the proposed school budget and we urge each of you to take a stand in favor of education by voting YES on June 15, 2010. 

A YES vote is not only an investment in our schools, but a sound choice for a community that values education and shares the responsibility for educating our young people.  We strongly believe that this budget strikes a fair balance during difficult economic times and better serves the students of our district than a state-mandated contingency budget which will no doubt lead to drastic cuts to student-centered programming.  Please take 15 minutes to vote YES and to affirm our collective commitment to high-quality education.
