Photos: Town Camp Carnival

Local campers bounced, tossed ran and snacked at the eighth annual camp carnival Friday.

As campers hopped off big yellow buses in the parking lot of Bedford Memorial Park Friday morning, a morning rain threatened to dampen the fun at the eighth annual Camp Carnival.

Instead the rain stopped and kids in kindergarten through seventh grade from all three town camps—Bedford Village, Bedford Hills and Katonah—came together for a big party on the grass.

Two enormous bouncy castles flanked the west end of the park where the festivities began, and the field quickly filled up with games staffed by campers and counselors.

After a fun-filled morning, campers were treated to a hot dog picnic courtesy of the Police Benevolent Association, who donated lunch and two $100 gift certificates to Toys R Us for two lucky campers.
